The role of Fleet Traffic Control Specialist at OnTrac Redlands is a full-time opportunity that offers hourly pay ranging from $20.92 to $23.14. This position is essential to the smooth operation and safety of the company's fleet, ensuring that all administrative and clerical duties related to fleet maintenance and compliance are handled meticulously. The specialist will work primarily during the Sunday through Thursday evening shift from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM, with some variability depending on the company’s needs.
In this role, employees will be responsible for maintaining detailed fleet maintenance records and processing fleet invoices on a daily basis. They will also actively contribute to the safety of the work environment by adhering strictly to company safety programs and protocols. The Fleet Traffic Control Specialist acts as a key communications liaison, handling telephone inquiries, coordinating with facility maintenance personnel, and ensuring effective follow-up on outstanding issues. They will also maintain organizational tools such as fleet files and costing sheets to support the smooth operation of the fleet department.
This position requires an individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to efficiently manage multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will excel in communication, both written and oral, and be comfortable interacting with both internal employees and external vendors. Proficiency in Windows-based applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook is necessary, along with excellent data entry skills, particularly with a 10-key keyboard.
