This temporary, seasonal role spans approximately 28 weeks, during which employees will be immersed in a dynamic hospitality environment aboard one of the company’s cruise vessels. As a Housekeeper, you will be entrusted with maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall comfort of the ship’s staterooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring that each guest’s experience is exceptional. This includes routine housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning upholstery, managing linen and supply inventories, as well as addressing special housekeeping service requests discreetly and efficiently.\n\nBeyond maintaining cleanliness, Housekeepers act as ambassadors of the American Cruise Lines brand, interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner, often by acknowledging guests by name and responding promptly to their needs. The scope of duties also extends to participation in various shipboard events and guest engagement activities such as welcoming guests during embarkation, assisting with special events including afternoon teas, snacks, and evening cocktail parties.
