The Assistant General Manager role at NBCUniversal is a dynamic leadership position responsible for directing and managing the successful opening and ongoing operations of a high-volume branded concept on City Walk. This role requires a hands-on leader to oversee all facets of restaurant operations including strategic planning, organizing, training, and leadership to ensure excellence in sales, cost management, team member retention, guest satisfaction, food quality, and sanitation. The Assistant General Manager plays a critical part in driving operating profit goals and optimizing profits by controlling food, beverage, and labor costs. They are also accountable for fostering a high level of engagement among team members and guests while ensuring strict compliance with all relevant laws and company standards.
This role demands a collaborative partnership with Human Resources to develop restaurant leaders at every level through effective training and development programs. The Assistant General Manager will be required to analyze financial reports, communicate operational results to the General Manager with actionable recommendations, and ensure that all brand standards and company policies are upheld. This position involves working a rotating schedule including holidays, weekends, and nights, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to operational success. The Assistant General Manager also prepares and presents regular performance reviews and ensures task completion in alignment with organizational goals.

- Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in high for quality chain or independent restaurant group

- Ability to work rotating schedules, holidays, weekends and nights
