Currently, Ferguson is hiring DC Warehouse Equipment Operators for their 2nd shift team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth warehouse operations by accurately handling, storing, and moving inventory and products using various types of Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), such as order pickers, standup forklifts, and reach trucks. The position supports day-to-day distribution center activities, including safely staging products, loading trucks for shipment and delivery, processing replenishments, and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse. Key responsibilities also involve working with handheld RF units or voice picking systems to track and manage inventory effectively. This role requires individuals who thrive in fast-paced, team-driven environments and can demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to work overtime when necessary. The shift starts at 4:00 pm Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed, offering a competitive hourly wage of $21.00, plus a $1.50 shift differential. Ferguson ensures the safety of its workforce by emphasizing the proper operation of powered equipment and adherence to safety protocols, especially when working at heights on multi-level mezzanines.   • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of experience operating forklifts or powered industrial trucks (PIT)
  • Strong work ethic
  • Willingness to work overtime when needed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly
  • Ability to stand and walk during shifts
  • Material handling equipment experience preferred
