The role being offered is for a Casino Cleaner to join the Rivers Casino Portsmouth team, working the 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM shift. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that all assigned areas within the casino, including public spaces and back-of-house (BOH) areas, are maintained according to cleanliness and safety standards. This is a crucial role in the casino’s operations as it directly impacts the comfort, safety, and overall experience of guests and team members. The Casino Cleaner will regularly clean and sanitize various surfaces, remove debris, and manage waste disposal to uphold the casino’s reputation for cleanliness. Duties include cleaning restrooms, floors, walls, metal surfaces, elevators, and slot machines. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to follow safety protocols, including handling hazardous materials according to OSHA guidelines. Teamwork and effective communication with supervisors and other team members are essential. The role also demands physical activity such as lifting, standing, walking, and bending in a moderately noisy and brightly lit environment. Moreover, the Casino Cleaner must maintain a professional attitude, demonstrating courtesy and positive interaction with casino patrons and coworkers.
