The role of Cook 1 at Invited is an entry-level culinary position that plays a vital role in supporting kitchen operations by focusing on foundational cooking tasks. This position involves setting up, preparing, and organizing the workstation to ensure smooth kitchen workflows. The Cook 1 is tasked with handling basic food preparation duties while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Working closely with Cook 2 and Cook 3 team members, this role supports the production of consistently high-quality food and beverages. Under the supervision of the Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or Executive Chef, the Cook 1 will develop their culinary skills by learning proper cooking techniques, adhering to food safety guidelines, and contributing to a positive and professional team environment. Key responsibilities include preparing and storing food items with strict compliance to Invited's standards, managing condiments and other culinary items, and assisting with daily specials and menu items' presentation. The Cook 1 is expected to interact professionally with members and guests, respond to last-minute requests, and actively participate in service recovery when necessary. This role offers the opportunity to grow professionally by working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where adaptability and willingness to learn are crucial.
