The role of Women’s Locker Room Attendant is crucial to maintaining the impeccable service standards and safe environment for guests at Island Spa & Sauna. This full-time position requires a dedicated professional to oversee the operations and guest experience specifically within the women’s locker room and bathhouse areas. The attendant will ensure safety protocols are followed, greet guests, manage appointments for spa services, and maintain the cleanliness and chemical balance of tubs to comply with New Jersey health regulations. The position demands close collaboration with floor management and other departments, using CRM software to record guest interactions and needs, and fostering a positive and cooperative work atmosphere. Flexibility to work night and weekend shifts is required to meet the spa's operational hours. This role combines customer service excellence with responsible facility management. The attendant will offer specialized services such as Yoni steam treatments, handle guest intake efficiently, and promote spa products and services to enhance guests’ experience. Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with the uniform policy is mandatory. The spa values multi-tasking abilities, strong problem-solving skills, and clear communication to discuss and resolve guest inquiries effectively. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Some previous work-related experience in customer service
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, at least two hours intervals
• Must be able to work in a sitting position for an extended period of time, at least four hours
• Must be able to reach for specific objects at short distances in local working areas
• On occasion may be required to lift and carry heavy objects, push or pull heavy objects
• kneel, bend or stoop, and ascend or descend ladders or stairs
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and in stressful situations
• Must respond to multiple task interruptions and still provide service to internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner
• May require local travel to various locations on business
