The position of Senior Living Sous Chef plays a vital role in supporting the culinary operations at Merrill Gardens at West Chester. This full-time or part-time role is designed for individuals who are passionate about working with the senior population and dedicated to promoting wellness through nutrition and quality meal preparation. The Senior Living Sous Chef collaborates closely with the Executive Chef to ensure that all meals served meet the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation, tailored specifically to meet the dietary needs of seniors. Responsibilities include overseeing batch-cooking and scratch cooking in a high volume setting, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and training new kitchen staff.
