The Flight Ops Training Analytics team at Delta is seeking a highly motivated Co-Op who is passionate about data and eager to leverage analytics to enhance the pilot training journey. This role is ideal for students who are curious about learning from data to improve training methods and outcomes. The Co-Op will be embedded within a team responsible for designing and delivering training programs for over 16,000 Delta pilots. Through this opportunity, candidates will gain significant exposure to real-world data challenges and strategic initiatives aimed at improving training effectiveness and pilot satisfaction.
As a Co-Op, you will contribute to various critical functions including conducting learner insights and advisory based on pilot feedback, performing learner analytics that support training curriculum changes, and assisting in long-term strategy development for the pilot training experience. You will work hands-on with data analysis tools and methodologies such as SQL and dashboard visualization, participate in creating cross-divisional reports, and contribute to enhancing learner experience metrics through innovative data collection techniques. This comprehensive role not only helps pilots succeed but also enriches your educational experience, preparing you for a future career in data analytics, aviation, or related fields.
The Co-Op program spans multiple semesters (Summer 2026, Spring 2027, and Fall 2027), requiring a commitment to fully immerse in the rotational experience without concurrently taking active courses. This intensive engagement allows you to build strong project management, analytical, and communication skills while working in a collaborative team environment.
