Planned Lifestyle Services (PLS), a division of Planned Companies, is currently looking for motivated, courteous, and knowledgeable Front Desk Associates and Doormen to join their team as Concierges. This role is based in Maplewood, NJ, with a schedule requiring availability on Saturdays and Sundays from 3 pm to 11 pm, offering a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position. The Concierge role is vital to the successful operation of residential or commercial properties by delivering a warm welcome, managing the flow of guests, tenants, and vendors, and providing essential concierge services that enhance the daily life of residents.
This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities aimed at delivering superior tenant services and supporting the operational needs of the building. The Concierge will greet and announce arrivals, provide directions, and foster strong relationships with tenants to offer unique and personalized assistance. Responsibilities extend to scheduling reservations and appointments, planning and organizing on-site events, and offering relevant information about local entertainment, dining, shopping, and other amenities.
Moreover, the Concierge will handle essential administrative tasks such as documenting mail and deliveries, securing vendor services, managing key and access card control, monitoring telephone communications, and ensuring the lobby area remains supervised and safe. This position requires individuals who embody a professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively while delivering a friendly and helpful presence.
