The Warehouse Associate position at Staples offers an exciting opportunity to join the World Class Supply Chain Team, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless delivery of essential products to customers. Working Monday through Friday from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm, this full-time role involves a variety of responsibilities within different warehouse areas such as bulk material handling, replenishment, receiving, returns, and shipping. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be expected to operate material handling equipment including forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, and electric pallet jacks to safely move and organize products, some weighing up to 100 pounds. Safety is the cornerstone of this position, requiring strict adherence to company protocols and safe operational practices at all times. This role requires flexibility as you may be assigned to any one of the six key warehouse areas or even support first-level roles (SC1) as operational needs arise. You will be instrumental in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, performing general cleaning and basic maintenance duties, and ensuring accurate product handling and documentation. Effective communication and collaboration with internal teams and external contacts are fundamental to resolving discrepancies and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction. • Minimum three months related experience in a warehouse environment or equivalent training, education, and experience
• Ability to pass a drug screen as legally permissible
• Basic English language skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work additional hours and overtime as needed if hired full-time
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet
• Ability to lift, push, or pull boxes or merchandise weighing between 70 and 100 pounds by hand
• Must wear safety composite shoes
• Ability to walk and stand 100 percent of the time
• Must be at least 18 years old
