The Outbound Warehouse Associate position at Cardinal Health is essential to maintaining efficient warehouse operations that support the company’s mission of advancing healthcare and improving lives. This role is primarily responsible for handling the outbound activities within the warehouse, which includes loading products onto trucks for distribution to a variety of customers. The schedule typically runs Monday through Friday, starting early in the morning at 4:00 AM and extending until completion of the shift, with occasional shifts lasting 10 to 12 hours. This schedule requires flexibility and stamina to maintain high productivity and safety standards throughout long hours. As part of the Warehouse Operations team, this associate will contribute to the seamless flow of products by performing a variety of manual and automated tasks. These include unloading inbound deliveries, using tools such as pallet jacks and order pickers, accurately processing product check-ins with the Manhattan Warehouse Management System, storing goods in designated locations, and picking and shipping products in alignment with prescribed service parameters. Particular attention is placed on following specific regulatory requirements when handling specialty products, such as refrigerated items, ensuring product integrity and compliance at all stages. The role demands a hands-on approach and a commitment to quality and safety, providing support that directly impacts Cardinal Health's ability to meet customer expectations and healthcare delivery deadlines. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $19.61, inclusive of shift differentials.
