This role involves a variety of tasks related to the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. Warehouse Operations at Cardinal Health ensures that products flow efficiently from vendors through receipt to shipment, adhering to prescribed service parameters to meet the needs of both internal and external customers.\n\nWorking Monday to Friday from 4 PM to 12:30 AM with additional overtime as needed, employees in this role play an essential part in maintaining a streamlined supply chain. The pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour, including shift differential. Although the role is not bonus eligible, comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, health savings accounts, and a 401k savings plan are provided. The opportunity offers on-the-job training from the first day, making it accessible even to candidates with little to no warehouse experience.\n\nThis role requires adaptability and a willingness to engage in cross-training across different warehouse functions. Duties include following established processes for order fulfillment, product picking and packing with quality checks, preparing shipments, and maintaining a safe work environment. Employees will also receive certification training for operating various material handling equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and more. The position emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
