The role at hand is for a part-time Waiter/Waitress located at Vie de France, 6842 Main Street, Miami Lakes, FL 33014. This position requires someone passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, capable of taking food and beverage orders efficiently, and ensuring timely delivery to guests in the dining room. Scheduled shifts run from Monday through Sunday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, with additional details provided during the interview process. The role is compensated at a fixed rate of $13.00 per hour. Applicants must have previous experience as a barista coupled with customer service skills, which are critical for success in this dynamic environment. Responsibilities include warmly greeting guests, offering detailed descriptions and recommendations about menu items, and attending to dietary restrictions and allergen concerns. The Waiter/Waitress will work closely with kitchen staff to ensure all orders are accurate and special requests are met, while adhering to food handling and sanitation standards. Effective communication skills and the ability to maintain a polite and patient demeanor with guests and co-workers are essential. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks during service shifts, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.
