The open position for Waiter/Waitress at Madison Vista West is available on both full-time and part-time schedules, with days and hours that may vary, including weekends and holidays. No previous experience is required as Morrison Living provides comprehensive training to prepare individuals for success on the job. Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, reflecting the company's commitment to offering competitive wages to their workforce. In this role, the waiter or waitress will take food and beverage orders, deliver items efficiently to guests, and ensure an exceptional dining experience. They act as an essential link between the culinary team and residents, assisting with menu guidance, accommodating dietary needs, and maintaining a safe and sanitary dining environment. Responsibilities include greeting guests promptly and warmly, processing orders according to established service standards, following up on guest needs, and handling cash transactions accurately. This position also requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with back-of-house staff to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and special requests are met. Wait staff are expected to maintain a neat and tidy dining area, operate various pieces of equipment such as soda machines and coffee brewers, and support special events or functions as needed.
