This opportunity is for a volunteer services coordinator position located in the 32nd Avenue Building, within the 3019750 VOLUNTEERS - 32ND HOSP department. The role focuses on working closely with volunteer leaders across Essentia Health facilities to recruit, interview, orient, and place volunteers effectively in various capacities. The coordinator will collaborate directly with multiple departments to assess volunteer requirements and ensure volunteers are scheduled appropriately to meet those needs. Responsibilities include supporting volunteer and auxiliary events, managing auxiliary business operations, and executing special projects as assigned by management. Specifically for the Deer River location, the role extends to managing the Gift Shop, further contributing to the auxiliary services.
The position demands strong organizational and interpersonal skills, essential for maintaining successful partnerships between volunteers and healthcare departments. Offering a full-time employment status with shift rotations during the day, this role excludes weekend and holiday work and does not carry an on-call obligation. Compensation ranges from $17.98 to $26.97 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
