The role focuses on enhancing and managing sustainability initiatives within the venue, specifically by advancing the resource recovery and zero waste programs to meet ambitious diversion and sustainability goals. As a seasonal, part-time position, primarily active on show days, the Venue Sustainability Supervisor is crucial in overseeing efficient waste sorting protocols, maintaining organized workspaces, and supporting continual growth of sustainability programs. Working closely with the Venue Sustainability Manager, this role demands oversight of day-to-day execution of sustainability practices during events, including sorting recycling, composting, donations, and landfill materials to maximize resource recovery.
