This job opportunity is a full-time position available on the 1st and 2nd shifts, requiring availability at least three days a week, including weekends. The role is focused on guest service ambassador duties, centered around the valet motor lobby and main lobby areas. Essential responsibilities include greeting and assisting guests, handling their luggage, safely parking vehicles, and maintaining a polished and professional demeanor at all times. The ideal candidate will manage the guest experience from arrival through departure, ensuring satisfaction by performing bell service tasks, monitoring motor lobby cleanliness, and upholding AHC’s guest service standards. The role also involves conducting shoe shines, setting up guest amenities, and assisting with any guest requests promptly and efficiently. Valet team members will be responsible for safe and timely vehicle parking, maintaining equipment such as bell carts and stands, and reporting any maintenance issues to supervisors or managers. This position requires strong knowledge of the local Grand Rapids area, familiarity with property management systems (PMS), and the physical ability to lift large parcels. The role encourages teamwork and cooperation among valet staff, while also requiring adherence to safety policies and operational procedures outlined in AHC’s handbook.
