The Guest Service Coordinator position at PMC in Galveston, TX, represents an exciting full-time or part-time opportunity to join a dynamic valet parking operations team. This role reports directly to the Account Manager and plays a pivotal role in supporting valet operations by ensuring the efficient flow of vehicles, delivering superior guest service, and assisting with staff management. The hourly pay starts at $8.50 plus daily cash tips, with tip income based on service performance and customer interactions, offering an additional earning potential. Working in this role means being at the forefront of guest interaction, addressing inquiries, resolving service issues, overseeing staff appearance and compliance, and ensuring smooth and safe vehicle handling procedures. The Guest Service Coordinator supports the Guest Service Manager by helping to oversee daily operations and team performance, conducting pre-shift meetings, managing valet equipment setup and breakdown, and ensuring operational supplies are well-stocked. This position also requires meticulous oversight of tip handling and payroll processing, in close collaboration with management teams, to ensure accurate and timely submissions. Additionally, the role involves maintaining safety standards across valet operations, promptly submitting incident reports, and fostering a positive and team-oriented culture that prioritizes guest satisfaction, safety, and operational excellence. Candidates should expect a physically active workplace, involving extended standing, walking, and occasional lifting, with a work environment consisting of frequent communication, teamwork, and outdoor activities around parking areas. The position requires a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and the ability to pass and maintain a clean background check.
