The position available is one of a Valet Attendant at Northern Quest Resort & Casino, a premier destination known for its AAA 4 Diamond and Forbes 4 Star standards. This role focuses on providing outstanding customer service to guests by efficiently and safely managing vehicle parking and retrieval. The Valet Attendant is responsible for greeting guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring their vehicles are handled with care, and meeting the highest hospitality standards set by the resort. Beyond the essential service of vehicle valet operations, this position plays a vital role in creating a welcoming environment that reflects the high standards of the Northern Quest Resort & Casino by anticipating guest needs and demonstrating professionalism in every interaction.
The Valet Attendant must demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail as they manage vehicle keys, follow safety protocols, and maintain clear communication with other departments to facilitate seamless guest experiences. Key duties include task promptness, safe driving of vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions, and reporting any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately. This role demands physical agility including the ability to run or jog briefly during the workday, the capability to lift light objects, and effectively communicate with guests and coworkers. Additionally, the Valet Attendant may occasionally perform supplementary roles such as traffic control, guest services, or shuttle duties when necessary.
Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED, have preferably some experience in a four-star or four-diamond hospitality setting, and be proficient with basic computer programs such as Microsoft Office. The ability to obtain and maintain a Kalispel Tribal Gaming License, a valid state driver’s license, and required vaccinations is mandatory. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays is also essential. Working conditions vary from protected indoor environments to occasional exposure to outdoor elements and environmental factors such as tobacco smoke and mechanical parts.
