Delta Solutions & Strategies is a specialized contractor providing advisory and assistance services primarily to military and defense sectors. The company focuses on delivering expert knowledge and operational support to ensure mission success within highly strategic governmental frameworks. Particularly, Delta Solutions & Strategies supports the United States Space Force and associated commands with tailored solutions designed to enhance space operations, planning, and command and control capabilities. Their role often involves collaboration with various combatant commands, defense offices, and field commands to facilitate the development and implementation of space-related strategies and initiatives. As a dynamic defense contractor, Delta Solutions & Strategies places emphasis on employing elite subject matter experts to meet evolving defense needs, particularly in space and cyber warfare domains. The position of Combatant Command (COCOM) Space Liaison for Delta Solutions & Strategies is a critical role that involves providing comprehensive advisory and assistance services to the Headquarters United States Space Force, specifically the Chief Operations Office (USSF/COO), supporting the U.S. Southern Command. Located at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona, this role supports the U.S. Space Forces SOUTHERN component, also known as Space-SOUTH. The position demands acute subject matter expertise and augmented functional expertise to handle mission capabilities, planning, and administrative duties related to space operations. This role is essential in assisting with crisis action planning, continuity of operations, and building and managing data sets to support Space Common Operating Picture (COP) platforms. The successful candidate will provide operational-level expertise encompassing orbital warfare, cybersecurity, readiness, strategic planning, and space command and control. They will assess all United States Space Force elements—comprising missions, systems, personnel, and processes—and deliver comprehensive assessment reports to inform leadership priorities. This position requires regular technical and programmatic liaison with combatant commands, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and other key defense and space force bodies. The Combatant Command Space Liaison will drive coordination within divisions and among all relevant stakeholders, crafting detailed products for senior leaders, including mission analysis, personnel and facilities planning, contingency planning, and budget preparations. Their work supports deliberate operational strategy development, doctrine formulation, policy guidance, and order issuance to USSF Field Commands. Additionally, the liaison facilitates information exchange on space capabilities and addresses capability shortfalls by providing expert advice and briefing senior leadership. The role includes supporting space functions pertinent to combatant command operations, tracking and enabling space support across areas of responsibility, and extensive involvement in combined forces operations and intelligence briefings. Crucially, under Title 10 Section 331 authority, this position manages plans and the proposal and approval process for U.S. military exchange programs, coordinating with U.S. agencies and partner nations. The position requires expertise in evaluating complex and varied technical intelligence and strategic communication with senior government leadership and partners in the U.S. Southern Command area. This role demands a high level of professionalism, security clearance, and a strong capacity to operate within classified and strategic domains. The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree with at least 15 years of experience in space operations or space control and possess strong communication skills along with familiarity in GPS support products and security clearance at the TS/SCI level.
