The Executive Chef position at Solette Seattle is a pivotal culinary leadership role responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations. This role requires extensive expertise in managing a high-volume, quality-driven kitchen, as well as innovating seasonal menus that embody the restaurant’s goals and the preferences of its discerning clientele. The Executive Chef will work closely with the General Manager to maintain smooth operations, uphold the highest culinary standards, and ensure guest satisfaction. This role entails managing inventory and procurement of top-tier ingredients, maintaining kitchen equipment, and ensuring cleanliness and organization to meet health and safety standards.
The Executive Chef will lead and mentor a large kitchen team, fostering accountability and professional service excellence. With a minimum salary range of $90,000 to $110,000, this full-time position demands strong leadership skills, creativity, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates should possess a culinary diploma or equivalent experience, along with demonstrated experience leading culinary teams and developing recipes that captivate guests.

- Minimum 3 years of experience as an executive chef or chef de cuisine
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality driven, high volume kitchen
- Culinary diploma or equivalent experience strongly preferred
- Team oriented and positive attitude
- Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in a second language a plus
