The role of Steward Supervisor (Grave Shift) is a critical leadership position responsible for directing, assisting, supervising, and training all stewards to uphold cleanliness and orderliness in all kitchen and food and beverage work areas and equipment. This position requires a hands-on leader who manages the entire stewarding function during the graveyard shift, ensuring that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are performed effectively and in compliance with health and safety regulations. The Steward Supervisor is responsible for educating the stewarding team on safety and sanitation protocols, ensuring that all local and state health regulations are followed rigorously. This role involves a high level of organization and leadership, as the supervisor must prepare equipment to be fully operational for the upcoming shift and be prepared to step in and perform stewarding duties as necessary to cover any absences. The Steward Supervisor is also responsible for ensuring that disciplinary action is carried out appropriately and following up with timely documentation. This position requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently during the late-night hours while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and operational readiness.
