The role of Unit Controller is integral to the Accounting department and supports several operating departments by providing financial oversight and analytical support. The Unit Controller will assist with forecasting, budgeting, labor and inventory control, analysis, and auditing to ensure operational excellence. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong financial acumen and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to support the business units. The role is salaried, with compensation ranging from $80,000 to $95,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to promote health, well-being, and financial security. The Unit Controller's responsibilities include daily credit control procedures, monitoring customer accounts, resolving inquiries, and ensuring adherence to company policies. This role demands a proactive approach to financial management to minimize overdue and bad debts while providing accurate and timely financial information. The Unit Controller is also responsible for preparing detailed analysis reports on outstanding debts and working closely with multiple departments to enhance financial processes.
