The Continuing Education Cake Decorator Trainer position is an integral part of this commitment to skill development. This role involves instructing students in basic cake decorating techniques through Continuing Education courses designed to build proficiency and confidence in various cake decoration skills. The trainer must be prepared to travel within the college district as needed and work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends. Candidates should have at least a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of one year of cake decorating experience. This position requires a commitment to the college's vision and mission, a valid Texas driver's license with proof of insurance, and the ability to pass a criminal background check. Physical requirements include the ability to lift objects occasionally, sustain standing for long periods, and perform tasks requiring fine motor skills.
The hourly compensation for this role is $15.75, reflecting the college's commitment to fair pay.
