The role of Customer Service and Operations Support Representative at Trumpcard is an integral part of our commitment to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This position involves actively managing customer orders, coordinating with a vast network of vendors including airlines, cargo handlers, and delivery agents, and providing consultative sales to customers. You will be responsible for communicating pricing information, explaining our services and benefits, suggesting alternative solutions tailored to customer needs, and effectively resolving logistical challenges. This job demands a dynamic and proactive attitude, with an emphasis on problem-solving, multi-tasking, and maintaining strong relationships with both customers and carriers. You will engage in thorough shipment monitoring from order entry through delivery, ensuring punctual and safe freight movement. A large part of this job includes extensive communication via phone, email, and web platforms to keep all stakeholders informed and satisfied. Maintaining attention to detail, managing documentation accurately, scrutinizing vendor invoices, and suggesting improvements to business processes are critical to your success. The position requires working full-time with available overtime opportunities, offering a competitive pay rate of $23 per hour. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with shift start times between 6 AM and 9 AM and shifts lasting between 9 to 12 hours. This role is onsite and demands a strong commitment to working as part of a hardworking, team-oriented group under deadline-driven conditions. Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, proprietary in-house software, and preferably Cargowise, is essential. • High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of relevant experience providing customer service and operational support
• Ability to work full-time with overtime availability including 9 to 12 hour workdays Monday through Friday
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient computer skills including use of Outlook, Excel, and proprietary software
• Knowledge of logistics and shipping operations preferred
• Ability to maintain attention to detail and accuracy
