The role of Supervisor, Reservations at Classic Vacations is a pivotal leadership position based in a dynamic and remote call center environment. Reporting to the Director of Reservations, this role entails overseeing a dedicated team of Travel Sales Specialists who are at the forefront of converting inquiries into bookings that exemplify luxury and personalized travel. The position demands flexibility for 40+ hours per week to effectively meet business needs and operational hours.
The Supervisor, Reservations is tasked with driving sales excellence and operational efficiency. The role focuses on fostering team development, motivation, and accountability, ensuring that all client-facing interactions adhere to the highest standards of service and professionalism characteristic of Classic Vacations. This leader is responsible for nurturing a positive and inclusive work culture, promoting continuous learning through collaboration with the training team, and implementing robust coaching methods to enhance sales techniques and product knowledge across the team.
Additional responsibilities include managing team performance through regular monitoring of key metrics and KPIs, conducting performance reviews, and providing actionable feedback and development plans. The supervisor must also manage the departmental inbox workflow to guarantee timely and accurate communication, resolve escalations with professionalism, and leverage data analytics to inform strategic decisions and improve service delivery.
This supervisory role is integral to maintaining Classic Vacations' legacy of excellence. It supports a culture of collaboration with other internal departments such as Outside Sales, Business Development, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure a cohesive approach to client and advisor satisfaction.                 - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred
 - minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role within reservations, contact center, or hospitality operations
 - proven experience leading high-performing teams in sales and customer service environments
 - demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed performance, quality, and customer satisfaction goals
 - proficiency in sales strategies, performance management, and customer service best practices
 - strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret data and implement action plans
 - excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 - advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
 - experience with Plex or similar reservation/CRM systems preferred
 - ability to work full-time, 40+ hours per week with flexibility
 - ability to perform essential job functions while working at a computer for extended periods.
