Parker Aerospace is a leading global company specializing in developing cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions that ensure reliable, efficient, and sustainable flight throughout the entire lifecycle of aircraft, including aftermarket support. With a passionate team of skilled engineers and a wide range of differentiated technologies, Parker Aerospace consistently delivers extraordinary results while shaping the future of aviation in collaboration with its customers. The company is committed to enabling engineering breakthroughs that contribute to a better tomorrow and offers limitless opportunities for both professional and personal growth. Employees at Parker Aerospace work alongside some of the most brilliant minds in the industry, making significant contributions to addressing some of the world’s most pressing engineering challenges. The Services and Support Operations (SSO) division at Parker Aerospace is a global leader in integrated Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services and support. Recognized for exceptional customer service and expert knowledge, the division supports airlines, business jet operators, military clients, airframe and engine manufacturers, and independent service centers throughout every stage of the aircraft lifecycle. Leveraging an extensive global network that includes service teams, MRO facilities, proprietary predictive modeling technology, and advanced systems, SSO offers round-the-clock operational and technical support wherever and whenever it is needed. The position available is based at the SSO division's Miami site and focuses on managing the division’s import and/or export programs, ensuring compliance with government regulations and internal standards. The role is essential in maintaining trade compliance by supporting the company’s cargo security program, providing training on compliance requirements, and acting as the principal contact for customs clearance and export processing issues. This job involves undertaking trade compliance processes for simple to moderately complex export and import requirements, working closely with multiple internal departments such as engineering, customer service, contracts administration, suppliers, IT, and the Corporate Compliance team. Moreover, the role demands collaborative interaction with external partners like brokers and forwarders to ensure smooth compliance adherence. Reporting to the Military Proposals and Contracts Leader, the incumbent is responsible for maintaining import/export manuals, conducting regular audits, managing compliance-related documentation and tools, and promoting adherence to industry regulations including CTPAT, ITAR, and EAR. The job requires both detailed attention to legal compliance and the ability to support the division’s operational needs through effective communication, training, and problem-solving skills. The role is also subject to U.S. export compliance and government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements. Parker Aerospace values a diverse, inclusive workplace where every team member belongs and makes a difference. The company focuses on the talents and potential of individuals rather than rigid job specifications and encourages innovation and commitment to excellence. The company offers a comprehensive and competitive compensation package that includes a competitive salary, annual bonus incentives, comprehensive health coverage, retirement benefits, generous paid time off, professional development opportunities including tuition reimbursement, and various employee engagement and wellness programs. Parker Aerospace is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, providing a drug-free workplace and compliance with all local and federal employment regulations.
