The Reservations Coordinator position is an integral role within the front office and reservations department of a reputable hotel. Furthermore, the Reservations Coordinator assists in preparing important documentation such as the 10-day forecast packets, group resumes, and meeting packets, which are crucial for the seamless operation of hotel events and group accommodations. You will also monitor and update group block bookings, maintain accurate rate information for negotiated accounts, and support front desk operations with timely reservation details. Flexibility is key, as the role requires availability during holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills, capable of handling guest concerns with diplomacy and ensuring every interaction contributes positively to the guest experience. Basic math and computer literacy, along with the ability to operate reservation software and generate reports, are essential in this role.
