The position open at Trilogy at Vistancia is for a Cook 1 within the Food & Beverage Team, with a full-time employment type. The hourly wage ranges from $16.00 to $18.00, offering competitive compensation within the hospitality industry. Reporting directly to either the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef, the Cook 1 is tasked with food preparation, cooking, and serving duties that support the restaurant and club operations.
In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for mastering one kitchen station and taking ownership of their assigned area with accountability for all decisions and actions. The role demands a strong commitment to superior service standards, ensuring that the quality of food exceeds guest expectations while adhering strictly to hygiene and safety protocols. The Cook 1 will engage proactively in resolving any guest or employee concerns, contributing positively to an inviting and professional kitchen atmosphere.
Key job functions include following detailed cleaning schedules and checklists to maintain a sanitary work environment, preparing ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, and shredding fruits and vegetables, and mixing ingredients according to established recipes to prepare soups, salads, desserts, and more. Additionally, cooking tasks such as baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming a variety of meats, fish, and vegetables are integral responsibilities. The Cook 1 must also perform food quality checks through tasting and visual inspection, as well as plating and garnishing meals to the highest presentation standards.
