The Technology Concierge position at Byron Park and The Kensington in Walnut Creek offers a full-time opportunity to become an integral part of these vibrant senior communities. This role centers around providing daily, on-site technological support tailored primarily to residents, supporting the enhancement of their living experience through effective use of technology. The Technology Concierge acts as the first point of contact for IT support within the community, addressing a variety of tech-related issues from hardware to software concerns, both remotely and in person. By guiding residents through troubleshooting processes, offering technical training, and coordinating technology-related programs, the Technology Concierge ensures that all residents have access to the technology they need in a user-friendly, approachable manner.
The role requires a high level of customer service, with a focus on patience and clear communication, especially when teaching residents technology skills. The position also involves working collaboratively with the Community Management Team to uphold service standards, ensuring timely resolution of technology requests and maintaining open, two-way communication with residents and their families. Candidates for this position should be enthusiastic about driving resident satisfaction through technology, possess strong problem-solving skills, and be flexible in their working hours, as the role is Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm with some flexibility required. The pay range is competitive at $24 to $28 per hour, reflecting the specialized skills and the important role of supporting senior residents in a technology-driven environment. A $500 hiring bonus further enhances the compensation package.

                - Outstanding customer service experience
 - experience as a desktop support analyst/specialist
 - experience troubleshooting various technical applications
 - solid understanding of hardware and software issues within a managed device environment

 - basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology including Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applications
