As a Team Member, you will be responsible for delivering unparalleled guest service by building personal connections, anticipating customer needs, and crafting high-quality beverages and food items according to Caribou’s standard operating procedures. Working as a Team Member means engaging actively in a dynamic, friendly work environment where you will float between barista and guest service roles, manage cash handling operations, and maintain store cleanliness and organization. It’s essential that each Team Member stays alert to the needs of both the team and guests, displaying a problem-solving attitude while knowing when to seek leadership support. The position requires a learner’s mentality and a willingness to grow, ensuring each task is done correctly and efficiently. This role is ideal for individuals at least 16 years of age who can work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, some holidays, and weekends. While prior restaurant, retail, or guest service experience is preferred, it is not mandatory as Caribou Coffee values a positive attitude, resilience, and a willingness to learn above all else. Physical demands include seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting and standing for extended periods, bending, and occasional movement during shifts, with accommodations available if necessary.
