The Team Member/Product Prep role plays a vital part in this experience, acting as a key contributor to both the preparation of food products and the overall guest experience. In addition to guest interaction, this role requires performing essential food production tasks according to a specific product schedule, ensuring that all supplies and products are properly stocked and rotated to meet inventory and safety standards. The individual is responsible for maintaining operational drink systems and following first-in-first-out (FIFO) product rotation principles to uphold food safety protocols rigorously.
The Team Member is also accountable for supporting all aspects of cleanliness and safety within the restaurant. They will complete housekeeping duties regularly to maintain an orderly and hygienic environment, inspect workstations, and promptly report any equipment malfunctions or quality concerns to management. Completing the In Store Set-Up (ISS) prior to the restaurant’s opening ensures the location is prepared for seamless service throughout the day.
Effective communication is a cornerstone of this role. The Team Member is expected to listen carefully, follow instructions, respond positively to feedback, and maintain honest and courteous communication with guests, teammates, and managers. Promoting a positive company image and adhering to team values and rules are equally important responsibilities.
