The role of System Event Manager at Wing is a vital position within the System Event Management organization, tasked with supporting all engineering and operations teams on a centralized basis. This full-time, onsite position based in Dallas, TX, demands a highly motivated individual who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and enjoys troubleshooting complex and emerging issues. The System Event Manager is responsible for coordinating rapid response activities during incidents by leveraging a deep technical understanding of systems involved. This role requires clear communication with diverse stakeholders including executives, technical teams, operations personnel, and regulatory affairs to relay information that is Accurate, Actionable, Relevant, and Timely (A.A.R.T). Responsibilities include managing the initial investigation and triage of issues, documenting incident responses through specialized tooling, recommending process improvements, assisting in policy and procedure development, and creating training materials to strengthen event response capabilities. The role also involves travel between Wing sites as necessary and entails working a rotating shift schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Compensation for this position is competitive, with a salary range between $150,000 and $159,000 USD plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
