The open position is for a Full-Time Feed Production Operator working the night shift. This role is integral to the day-to-day operations of the feed mill, primarily responsible for operating computer batching systems to mix feed according to customer specifications and company standards. The operator will also enter and print detailed feed formulas and medication tags, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety regulations. Monitoring ingredient bin capacities is another critical responsibility to maintain sufficient ingredient levels to keep the production line running smoothly without disruption. Additionally, the role involves receiving and unloading incoming shipments as needed and performing other warehouse duties that support overall mill operations. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with solid basic math skills, the physical strength to carry out manual tasks, and a positive attitude to foster a productive work environment.
Compensation for this night shift position starts at $23.50 per hour, with an additional $2 per hour night shift differential to reward employees working outside regular daytime hours.
