Ramp Agents play a crucial role in supporting the daily activities around aircraft on the ground, including loading and unloading baggage and cargo, marshalling aircraft during arrival and departure, as well as providing specialized handling for items such as wheelchairs, child strollers, live animals, and mail. The Ramp Agent position at Swissport offers an hourly pay rate of $21.63 and requires individuals who are adaptable to the dynamic and often fast-paced environment of airport operations. This job demands physical stamina, the ability to work in varying weather conditions, and flexibility to work different shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be capable of lifting heavy objects, having excellent health and safety awareness to maintain a secure workspace for themselves and others. In their role, Ramp Agents are also responsible for operating various types of ground support equipment like tow tractors, belt loaders, aircraft ground power units, and de-icing units. This ensures that all aircraft are adequately serviced and prepared for departure. • good command of the English language both verbal and written
• previous ramp experience is a plus
• valid driver’s license
• ability to work in inclement weather
