This role is a vital part of Swissport's ground support services, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of aircraft and passenger luggage, cargo, and equipment. Ramp Agents play a crucial role in supporting the daily activities around aircraft on the ground, including loading and unloading baggage and cargo, marshalling aircraft during arrival and departure, as well as providing specialized handling for items such as wheelchairs, child strollers, live animals, and mail. The Ramp Agent position at Swissport offers an hourly pay rate of $21.63 and requires individuals who are adaptable to the dynamic and often fast-paced environment of airport operations. This job demands physical stamina, the ability to work in varying weather conditions, and flexibility to work different shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be capable of lifting heavy objects, having excellent health and safety awareness to maintain a secure workspace for themselves and others.
