Trilogy at Vistancia - Kiva Club is part of the vibrant Trilogy at Vistancia community located in Peoria, Arizona, about 40 minutes west of Scottsdale and northwest of downtown Phoenix. The Cook 4 position is a full-time opportunity within the Food & Beverage Team, working primarily at Kiva Club. The role is essential in delivering a superior culinary experience to guests by preparing, cooking, and serving various dishes according to strict quality standards. Employed on an hourly basis with a competitive pay range of $22 to $24 per hour, this position reports directly to the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef. As part of the team, the Cook 4 is expected to master all kitchen stations, including plating and expediting, and to assist in training new and existing kitchen staff on their station assignments and standard recipes. The role demands a high level of culinary skill, attention to detail, and the ability to manage kitchen service effectively by monitoring ticket times, food quality, and plating standards. This position also involves participation in developing weekly and daily specials, contributing to menu creativity and guest satisfaction. Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen is a critical responsibility, and the Cook 4 must lead and monitor adherence to cleaning schedules and checklists daily. Adaptability is key in this role, as the Cook 4 may need to assume the responsibilities of kitchen production and service leadership in the absence of senior kitchen staff. This dynamic position requires excellent communication skills, strong teamwork, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and guest service.
