The primary focus of this supervisory role is to oversee warehouse operations, ensuring operational efficiency, high productivity, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, the Supervisor Logistics is responsible for managing workflow, establishing key performance indicators (KPIs), scheduling, staff management, and auditing activities. A critical aspect of this role is leading continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance speed and quality of operations, supporting excellent customer service outcomes. The individual in this role will coordinate across multiple departments and must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with senior management, a unionized workforce, vendors, and external stakeholders. This role demands a hands-on leader capable of guiding and motivating teams, enforcing company policies, and fostering strong employee relations within a union environment. Additionally, the Supervisor Logistics must be adept at managing inventory levels, maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and contributing to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts. This is a dynamic role requiring frequent use of computer systems and software such as SAP, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Physical requirements include the ability to occasionally lift 50-75 pounds and standing for up to 75% of the shift, with adherence to all workplace safety provisions including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).   • 2 years logistics experience preferred
  • Experience working with a unionized workforce preferred
  • Knowledge of SAP
