The analyst ensures strict adherence to all legislative, regulatory, and accreditation requirements related to import and export activities. This role requires close coordination with multiple internal departments, including plants, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and various third parties to support AAM projects efficiently. Duties involve preparing and reviewing critical shipping documents such as commercial invoices and packing lists, managing Electronic Export Information (EEI) and Automated Export System (AES) filings, and maintaining operational key performance indicators. The analyst also supports internal audits of export shipments, ensuring corrective actions are tracked and implemented as needed. Collaborations with customs brokers, including major logistics providers like FedEx, UPS, and DHL, are key for ensuring the accuracy of documentation and filings. This position demands a strong understanding of global trade regulations and proactive management of trade compliance training and communications.
