There is also an element of guest relations, as the role includes soliciting feedback, customer reviews, and referrals to help improve the guest experience and support timeshare opportunities.
Additional responsibilities include managing inventory and housekeeping supplies, maintaining carts with cleaning materials, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The housekeeper inspects unoccupied suites to verify their condition and reports any incidents or hazards promptly to management. The role can involve assisting with janitorial, laundry, or other resort support services during peak occupancy or staffing shortages. Communication skills are critical for coordinating with the Executive Housekeeper and resort management to maintain safe and welcoming environments for guests.
