The role of Operations Generalist within Petco’s Pet Care Center is a dynamic and multifaceted position that ensures the seamless execution of merchandising and inventory strategies in alignment with Petco’s high standards. This full-time position offers a starting pay of $14.00 per hour and requires hands-on involvement in various operational aspects such as truck unloading, stocking shelves, maintaining an appealing and organized merchandise presentation, processing transactions, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the Pet Care Center. The Operations Generalist plays a critical role in creating a positive experience for guests and their pets by actively supporting the welfare, health, and proper care of animals while being a collaborative team player. In this role, the individual will be empowered to apply Petco’s comprehensive training programs to maintain expertise and adhere strictly to operational guidelines, policies, and procedures. The position demands a strong interest and dedication to animal welfare, proficiency in retail operations, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and the flexibility to work a schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
