The Production Lead role is a vital position within one of Bimbo Bakeries USA’s baking facilities. Focused on producing high-quality products consistently, the Production Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations while upholding stringent safety, sanitation, and quality standards. This role demands strong leadership and interpersonal skills to promote teamwork and maintain a productive, efficient production environment. Key responsibilities include enforcing compliance with federal, state, and local regulations such as FDA, OSHA, Department of Agriculture, and Department of Health; ensuring adherence to HACCP and Global Food Safety Standards like the British Retail Consortium (BRC); and managing environmental compliance as well as Department of Transportation mandates. The Production Lead actively participates in regular quality audits, helps implement company initiatives such as manufacturing transformation and standard operating procedures, and plays a critical role in training new associates. The position offers a starting pay rate of $30.50 per hour, flexible scheduling across three shifts to meet business needs, and a full array of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans. - Experience in fresh baked goods, bread and roll facility or process manufacturing environment preferred
