The Operations Generalist role at Petco is integral to delivering an exceptional experience to guests and their pets. This position involves ensuring efficient merchandising and inventory management across the Pet Care Center by following established Petco processes. An Operations Generalist serves a multifaceted role: managing stock, working the cash register, maintaining cleanliness, and providing attentive customer service aligned with the company’s high standards of pet care. Responsibilities of the Operations Generalist include maintaining inventory and merchandise presentation, ensuring products are properly stocked, priced, and displayed to enhance the guest experience. The Operations Generalist supports pet health by assisting with animal care procedures and continually updating their knowledge through training programs. • Minimum high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
