Reporting to the Food and Beverage/Beverage Director or Banquet/Restaurant Manager, the Wine Steward serves as a key member of the team, contributing to the overall dining operations and member satisfaction. The Wine Steward ensures proper storage, presentation, and service of wines in accordance with industry standards and club guidelines, maintaining an inviting and refined dining environment. Beyond maintaining the wine inventory and handling wine-related inquiries or complaints, the Wine Steward is also responsible for supporting events and special functions by setting up and breaking down wine service areas. • Sommelier certification or coursework in wine knowledge
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments
