Starting at $18.25 per hour, this role involves providing guests with the authentic Starbucks experience through expertly crafted beverages and food service. Starbucks Baristas at Target are expected to maintain food safety standards as outlined by state, federal, and OSHA guidelines while managing product freshness and handling inventory processes efficiently. The role demands a strong focus on guest interaction, ensuring that each visit is welcoming and meets Starbucks quality expectations. Daily responsibilities include maintaining clean and organized workspaces, supporting digital order fulfillment, and actively participating in promotional campaigns. Baristas are trained to prepare beverages precisely to recipe specifications and uphold all food safety and sanitation procedures. Additionally, they support various guest service points within the store, such as Drive Up and Order Pickup, showcasing versatility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. • Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
• Climb up and down ladders
• Scan handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
• Flexible work schedule e.g. nights weekends and holidays reliable and prompt attendance necessary
• Ability to work in an environment that could range from 34°F to -10°F as needed
• Ability to work in spaces where common allergens may be handled or present
• Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures humidity and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up carryout etc.
