The role of Restaurant Manager at 21c Museum Hotels is a critical leadership position responsible for ensuring the success of the daily operations of the hotel’s restaurant. Reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Director, the Restaurant Manager oversees a team of 20 to 40 front of house (FOH) teammates, ensuring that every guest receives the highest level of service in a welcoming and efficient environment. This position requires a hands-on manager who is not only capable of supervising and developing staff but also involved in operational tasks such as inventory management, cost control, and maintaining top-notch cleanliness standards. The Restaurant Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue and optimizing profits through effective staff management, training, and service excellence initiatives.
In addition to operational management, the Restaurant Manager cultivates a positive work culture by maintaining high staff morale and fostering strong relationships with regular guests and VIPs. Leading by example, they are known to ‘roll up their sleeves’ to maintain standards and step in to assist where necessary, demonstrating dedication and commitment to both the team and guests.
