This role is a full-time position located within Cencora's distribution services, supporting the AmerisourceBergen business operations in Roanoke, Texas. The position operates on a weekend shift schedule from Wednesday through Sunday, beginning at 6:00 am until the shift ends. The hourly pay rate for this role is $22.75, inclusive of shift differential. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment screening that may involve drug testing and background checks in accordance with applicable state and local laws.
The role is designed to support the daily functions of the distribution center, which includes managing inventory flow, order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and merchandise organization. As a vital member of the operations team, this position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with fellow team members to maintain operational efficiency. Responsibilities often include handling and verifying incoming shipments, preparing customer orders, managing returns, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment. The role may also involve utilizing radio-frequency (RF) devices and motorized equipment such as forklifts or reach trucks, contingent upon certification and training.
