This position plays a critical role in the daily operations of the Culinary Department within a facility and involves assisting the Executive Chef in various culinary and managerial responsibilities. With a pay grade of 13 and a salary range from $75,000 to $78,000, this role is suited for an energetic, entrepreneurial, and detail-oriented cook with a deep understanding of kitchen management. Key responsibilities include supervising hourly associates, participating in menu development and daily food preparation, and upholding standards for food quality, sanitation, and presentation. The Senior Sous Chef will also support cost control measures and collaborate with company marketing and culinary teams to implement new culinary programs. In this role, the Senior Sous Chef must demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of foodservice operations, including catering and high-volume cooking, and must be proficient in the use of computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite and email platforms. The position is ideal for candidates who have attained an A.O.S. Degree or culinary certificate and have progressive experience in kitchen management and catering services. ServSafe certification and familiarity with patient satisfaction initiatives are highly desirable.
