The Dining Supervisor position at Springmoor Life Care is a vital role within the food service department. This role involves providing oversight and coordination of daily food operations under the direction of management. The Dining Supervisor supports management by supervising staff and ensuring all daily functions run smoothly and efficiently to deliver excellent service to residents. A key responsibility is managing employee productivity and ensuring that all team members understand and follow policies, procedures, and diet orders while maintaining compliance with health and safety standards. The Dining Supervisor also plays an important role in training and orienting new employees, fostering staff development, and promoting a positive work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, residents, and other departments. The Dining Supervisor is expected to uphold the community’s commitment to quality food service and resident satisfaction by monitoring food quality and addressing any service issues promptly. The position is a full-time role with shifts available from 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM and 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, offering a competitive hourly wage range of $16.00 to $23.00 depending on experience. Ideal candidates for this position must be self-motivated, flexible, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment that includes moderate physical labor such as lifting up to 25 pounds. Patience, professionalism, and a positive attitude are critical when working with residents and staff alike. Additionally, candidates must be Serv-Safe certified, bringing essential food safety knowledge to ensure compliance with all related regulations. This role is ideal for an individual with a background in food service supervision who is passionate about providing excellent service within a caring senior living setting.   • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred
  • minimum of 2 years food service experience
  • minimum of 1 year supervisory experience
  • must be self-motivated and flexible

  • patience and understanding when dealing with residents and employees
  • must be able to read, speak and write English
