The role of the Radiologic Technologist at AFC involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiographic exams, to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and diseases. This position is vital to delivering high-quality medical imaging services and requires meticulous attention to radiation safety standards, particularly ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) techniques. In addition to imaging responsibilities, the position also involves assisting with administrative and clinical duties such as patient registration and providing medical assistance when needed.   • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Six months to one-year related experience and/or training
  • California full or limited scope X-ray license/permit
  • Digital X-ray certification
  • Ability to operate digital and non-digital radiology equipment
  • Knowledge of ALARA radiation protection techniques
  • Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capacity to complete administrative tasks such as record keeping
